Well, it was another tough week to be a Texans fan. Every time it seems like we have momentum, we lose it. We finally got Tyrod back and had a great game against the Titans, and we go and lose to the terrible terrible New York Jets. Anyway, here is a recap of what happened and what you missed or chose to miss.
The Texans looked good early and once again Tyrod proves that he should be a starting quarterback in the league, even if it is for one of the worst teams in the NFL. Tyrod threw for two touchdowns in the second quarter making it a 14-3 game going into halftime. After that, our offense could not seem to figure out how to move the ball downfield, which is a problem we seem to have a lot. The Jets went on to lead us 18-14 in the third quarter due to our terrible penalties. Ross Blacklock, a TCU alum sadly, was the cause of two crucial penalties that helped the Jets secure the win. Overall, it was not an enjoyable game and if you missed it, trust me, you did not miss anything. The Texans are in a horrible spot, and it will be a long journey to get us out of the steaming piece of mess. As always, we go onto next week hoping we can win and hoping that Cal McNair sells the team.
